AEROBICS

is physical exercise of relatively low intensity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process. Aerobic means "relating to, involving, or requiring free oxygen and refers to the use of oxygen to adequately meet energy demands during exercise via aerobic metabolism. Generally, light-to-moderate intensity activities that are sufficiently supported by aerobic metabolism can be performed for extended periods of time.[1] The intensity should be between 60 and 85% of maximum heart rate.

Aerobic exercise includes:
1. Step training
- It is a low impact exercise that involves music and a platform(4-12 inches)and utilising large groups of muscles.

2.Aquatic exercise
- put less strain on your musculoskeletal system.Water provides sufficient resistance to help strengthen your muscles, burn calories and raise your heart rate to your target level.

3.Spinning®
-high-intensity exercise program that utilizes a specially designed stationary bicycle and a series of cycling movements that provide you with both a physical and mental workout which is set to fast paced and motivating music.
Benefits of Aerobics exercise:
1. Helps in weight loss and weight management
2. Increases Stamina
3.Improves heart and lungs conditions by increasing volume of oxygen so as to increase oxygen efficiency of the heart
4.Increases mobility
5.Minimises risk of stoke, cancer and hypertension
6. Stress management
7.Improves blood fats
